We encourage those looking for counselling to ask questions, share concerns, and connect with a therapist who is understanding of your experience! Please note: All 15-minute phone consultations will come from a a phone number that will be listed as a PRIVATE caller. If it is your consultation appointment time, and a number is listed this way, it is most likely the therapist.

Assessment - Psychologist
In-depth assessment provides a deeper understanding about how our strengths and difficulties affect our daily life at school, at work, and in our relationships. When we gain this insight about ourselves or our children, we can focus on the ways we can most proactively use our strengths, advocate for our needs, and experience success. I provide psycho-educational assessment, adult support assessment, and psycho-diagnostic assessment (e.g., ADHD, depression, etc.). Typically, an assessment involves an intake session, formal testing or diagnostic interviewing, and a feedback meeting to discuss results. As there are multiple appointments, please call the office (403) 581-1618 to schedule assessment sessions!
Counselling (Canadian Certified Counsellor)
Couples Counselling - Canadian Certified Counsellor
Couples counselling can assist with many relational challenges such as managing conflict, difficulties due to outside stressors (e.g., finances), infidelity, and emotional disconnection. It can help support couples in identifying and expressing their feelings, exploring the past, developing solutions to challenges, and equipping couples with strategies (e.g., problem solving, conflict resolution) to heal and grow together. Ideally, couples therapy includes participation from both partners. However, if a partner is not open to it, couples therapy can be done alone, to gain more insight into the ways your relationship could be improved. In addition, frequently it is helpful for both partners to receive individual counselling to help process what is brought up in couples counselling.
